Brief Introduction
"From Far Away" ("Karetakara"- in Japanese) talks about Kozuki Tsukasa, a girl who dresses like a boy and behaves like a boy, and Shirogami Ryuji's story.
In 2021 Tokyo is a dangerous city (many criminals), especially for girls (rape, murders), so in order to prevent from this dangerous society Tsukasa 's parents brought her up like a boy. However, because her parents were killed by criminals, she and her brothers became homeless. When they were being hungry, Tsukasa got an idea--- she cheated her classmate, Ryuji (the head of The "kuryugumi"---yakuza, the biggest Maffia in the Gate East in Japan ) that she knows who killed his father!!! Ryuji father also got killed by the same criminals (who killed Tsukasa's parents).
However, Ryuji knew she lied to him after Tsukasa and her brothers ate all the food and Ryuji questioned her. He got very mad and wants her to be his bodyguard until they found the killers otherwise he will kill her brothers. Finally, they found who killed their parents, but Ryuji forced her to continue being his bodyguard because her brothers spent a lot of money in his place and she has to pay it back.
Then, many affairs happened to Tsukasa, Ryuji and their surrounders. At the beginning Tsukasa always wanted to escape being Ryuji 's bodyguard. However, Tsukasa finally falls in love with him (Ryuji loves her a long time ago), but they are not allowed to be together (Ryuji got a fiancee---"kuryugumi" chose for him). Thus, do you think what would happen to Tsukasa and Ryuji ---happy ending or ????
